Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet ready to look to past in Europa League final against Sevilla
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet will draw on the inspiration of Jerzy Dudek’s Istanbul heroism as he seeks European glory this week – but he says there is no prospect of him repeating a ‘spaghetti legs’ routine in a penalty shoot-out. European finals have a habit of turning keepers into legends, whether it was Dudek’s penalty saves in the 2005 Champions League or Bruce Grobbelaar’s antics in Rome in 1984.
